Hello everyone, and welcome to another of my reviews. In this article, I’ll review my experience at the SATS Premier Lounge in Changi Airport Terminal 3.
The SATS Premier Lounge is one of three Priority Pass lounges in Changi Airport Terminal 3. It looked the most promising out of the three, so I decided to visit it during my recent trip to Bangkok. Let’s see if it’s any good.

SATS Premier Lounge – Review
The SATS Premier Lounge looks well-maintained, though it’s currently being refurbished to serve travellers better.
The food options are decent, with a live noodle station (featuring pasta and mee siam) available for guests.
Other food options are also available, with protein options such as baked fish with pesto cream sauce looking particularly appetising.
I was also impressed at the variety on display, with Indian dishes such as chicken korma being served up next to Japanese chicken curry and western-styled mashed potato.
There were plenty of local dishes as well, such as nasi kunyit.
However, the star of the offerings has to be the signature laksa, though guests are expected to blanch and compose the dish themselves (as opposed to Blossom Lounge, where the staff does it for you).
There’s also a limited selection of alcoholic beverages available, such as whiskey, gin, vodka, as well as red and white wines.
The lounge also provides Tiger beer, as well as a variety of soft drinks which can also be used for mixers. There’s even yoghurt and juices available for the health-conscious.
Other beverage options include Dilmah tea, of which there’s a wide variety.
There are also not one, but two Schaerer coffee machines for those looking for a bit more caffeine.
Those looking for a quick bite can consider the bread selection on offer – there’s a toaster for those who want their bread hot and crunchy.
Meanwhile, those on a diet can patronise the salad bar, which looks fresh – and most importantly, lacks the fruit flies of Marhaba Lounge.
The only slight disappointment is the dessert options, which feature just two types of cakes. I was expecting a tad more variety, and sorely missed the lack of ice cream offerings.
To be fair, the food itself was decent. In particular, I liked the pesto fish, Japanese curry chicken, and nasi kunyit. I paired the food with whiskey – it’s Johnny Walker Black Label, which is good enough to drink neat for me.
The signature laksa was also quite good – comparable to some of the “famous” ones that I’ve tried. The broth was robust, with a strong coconut profile. I paired the laksa with a glass of refreshing white wine, with the acidity of the sauvignon blanc cutting through the spice of the laksa beautifully.
If you’re a business traveller, you’ll be pleased to know that there is an abundance of power ports available – I saw quite several guests doing work on these high tables.
Those who prefer to lounge can do so in the spacious seating area provided. The decor is noticeably more upscale than those of previous lounges that I’ve been in, with the area exuding a luxe feel.
Even the toilet feels atas, with marbled floors that are sparkling clean.
The toilet is one of the nicest I’ve seen in a Priority Pass lounge, and it even comes with shower amenities. If you need to refresh yourself before your flight, this has to be one of the best lounges to do so.
Overall, SATS Premier Lounge in Changi Airport Terminal 3 is one of the best Priority Pass lounges I’ve been to. The ambience is luxurious, there’s a myriad of food and drink options, plenty of power ports for business travellers, and even showering facilities in the toilet. My only complaint is the lack of dessert options (where’s the ice cream!) but aside from that, SATS Premier Lounge is near-perfect.
SATS Premier Lounge in Terminal 3 is open 24 Hours daily.
